The famous Toshiba 6TP-304, "The Coffin", is a remarkable example of early Japanese engineering.

The radio is in an unusual lozenge shape, with a vertical sliderule dial.  It's neatly divided up into four visual sections of interest.  The labeling of "Transistor" is in white, while the "6" is gold.  At the bottom right, the usual Toshiba logo is found.

The radio neatly fits into the hand.

6TP-304 opened up
Here's the radio opened up.  Once again, it's a very tight fit of parts inside.  The circuit uses the following Toshiba transistors:  2S52, 2S49, 2S53, 2S54, 2 x 2S56.  The diode is a 1N60.  The transistors are black with yellow labeling, the diode white with red labeling.  The serial number decodes to No. 15,008, produced in May, 1959.

Here's views of the two sides of the radio.  The volume control is located behind the tuning dial for easy one-hand control of all features.

A closeup of the tuning dial shows off the lettering style, and a magnified image of the backstamp.
6TP-304 disassembled
The radio disassembles fairly easily, but tight clearances mean being very careful when removing the circuit board from the case!
Chassis
Here's a closeup of the chassis.  The transistors can be identified as round, black objects.  The diode is almost out of view at the bottom left, next to a gray capacitor.
